I honestly have listened once per format and as a radio geek strictly speaking. Actually I think I tuned in maybe 5 times for classic country and I did enjoy the resurrection of The Mighty 92. I just don't think CC knows what to do with these AM stations short of slapping a cookie cutter format on them and calling it a day. If it doesn't fit even a loose cookie cutter format they already have in their toolbox it's not going to last. It's just not. And that's sad, but CC is selling off these smaller market stations and are so many of the large conglomerates. There are a good handful of locally owned radio stations relaunching themselves in smaller markets around the country every year. It will take time and often when a local management company or family takes over there is turnover, but one could argue it's worth it for the overall business.

PS: I'm new. I was on the old madcityradio when I worked on Rayovac Drive.
