Pssst! I've got a little secret that the righty media doesn't want you to know.
Cons don't actually want Mittens to win.
They are embarrassed as hell that he is the guy their party nominated. They know he's a flip-flopper. They know he's in some ways more liberal than Obama. They know they nominated a complete loser from the get-go.
If Mittens wins, cons are stuck with a moderate wimp that they'd have to carry bucket after bucket of water for. He isn't the far-right loon they really wanted.
If Obama wins, they get to whine and cry for another four years and keep playing the perpetual victim. That's what their audience likes to hear- that they're the victim and that Obama Is Evil(™). Righty radio gets better ratings if they have a Democratic President in office to whine about.
That is just one basic and simple way the rightist media lies to you on a daily basis.
After Obama wins, they're going to put on a show of bellyaching about how The End Is Nigh, but behind closed doors they'll be absolutely thrilled and relived that they dodged a bullet this time.
