Additional editorializing on my part: This is the smartest decision MRA has made since taking WLUM down the Indie identifying path. Van is beloved in this city and the burbs, and he will bring an audience and a buzz to 93.3. I don't know if that takes it out of the ratings crapper it's been stable in, but it at least has a shot. Honestly I think they would have been smart to keep Jane, fire Carol Vonn and pair Jane and Van, a pairing which has been done before on The Mix. Maybe they couldn't afford both Van and Jane? Or maybe Jane and Van have a beef I don't know about? I haven't been around them in ages. Why do they keep Carol Vonn in this market? She's terrible and that god damn "resume" name. Soo what, there are two Carols on the radio. Give me a break.
